In the past vibration tables have been used to disturb the mirror velocity for testing purposes. What is shown here is a convenient method to produce a repeatable and controlled disturbance. A ground connection was made at the point xxx, and a resistor soldered in at a point corresponding to summing junction of the previous slide.
