Variants - There are a host of variants of this general design. Complementary reflections produce beams of constant propagation angle which can be returned to the beamsplitter by reflection at normal incidence from fixed flat mirrors. The return path to the beamsplitter is the exact inverse of the path from the beamsplitter.
